Talk at NORWAC - Seattle

Depictions of Chiron with the many heroes he initiated suggest profound mirroring between teacher and student: bodies arched together, gazing in a shared direction, mutual stillness. In this talk we will explore how this creature of two worlds moved between them and empowered students to do the same. We will explore what it means psychologically to shapeshift, how wounds require one to progressively embody different forms and dimensions of self in more diverse and interesting ways across a lifetime.
