Living the Signs of the Zodiac: Fire Signs Experiential Astrology Course

Tuesdays 5pm-7:15pm Pacific - lead facilitator Nicole Feola - starts March 17, 2026

Wednesdays 9am-11:15am Pacific - lead facilitator Amanda Simon - starts March 18, 2026

11-Session Online Experiential Astrology Course

$645 / person; maximum 12 participants per section

This experiential astrology course is an in-depth, multi-sensory exploration of the myths and stories associated with the Fire signs of the zodiac: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.  In a small group setting (no more than 12 in each section), we engage the stories and images as they have been seen and shared across time, restoring a multidimensional and holographic experience of each sign beyond ‘keywords’ and traits.  We enter and participate in the stories directly through action methods including writing, movement, dreamwork, art-making, astrodrama, and more. Through direct lived experience you will come to understand the signs more multidimensionally: the range of stories, feelings, sensations, desires, dreams, action urges, and relational orientations they carry; and also, be a part of a re-dreaming and re-weaving of the myths and stories we so need in contemporary times. In addition, between classes we provide extensive resources including my own video/written material both archival and original-to-the-course, as well as writing and other media from classical sources; Jungian, archetypal, and classicist interpretative work; and a wide range of supplemental material.

Nicole Feola, Tuesday Group Facilitator

Nicole is an animist astrologer, artist and parent raising two young humans. Each of these journeys draw her ever more deeply into the question of how to tend a benevolent field of consciousness that’s able to receive a child and foster their incarnation —whether this ’child’ is an actual human child or something else, some dream within that wants to be lived out. She approaches experiential astrology as a practice of giving permission, resource and relational container to our many creative instincts, so that these creatures might be felt in the depths of their own essential nature while also re-membered into wider life cycles, rhythms and wholes.

Nicole’s astrology practice is deeply informed and guided by the archipelagic consciousness of her Filipino ancestors, who navigated ocean currents and tides and a multiplicity of islands by the Night Sky. It’s rooted in her work and education in Biology, Internal Family Systems, Craniosacral Therapy and a decade of partnering with flower essences.

Nicole’s work is also moved by a clarity of desire sparked by her time as a competitive athlete.  As a shy and sensitive kid, the opportunity to claim her space and voice on the soccer field was like an infusion of lifeblood into her system. Nicole longs for and is devoted to tending a diversity of ‘fields of play’ that can support the appearance, movement and even leadership of animals who otherwise may remain hidden in our internal ecosystem, so that we can steep in the unique qualities of Self that they bring and learn how to expand our containers to better acknowledge and care for them.

Nicole lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California, the ancestral and current lands of the Nisenan, surrounded by Oak, Madrone, Cedar, and Pine, and close to the Yuba River.  A consulting astrologer since 2017, for the past four years Nicole has focused on experiential, imaginal, mythic and relational work under the mentorship of Jason Holley and is in the final months of the Hermes-Hestia Practitioner Program. She recently facilitated an embodied journey with color as a way to prepare for Neptune's time in Aries, at the first Living Astrologies Conference in Santa Fe.

Amanda Simon, Wednesday Group Facilitator

Amanda is an artist and consulting astrologer with a particular passion for the art of astrological listening and recognizes astrological attunement as a continuous conversation between humanity and the sacred - an ongoing reciprocal unfurling with mystery through attending to our living sky.

Amanda has contributed a chapter to “Sideways from Saturn” (2026) a book dedicated to the Centaurs of the sky; her chapter focused on Okyrhoe, Chiron’s prophetic daughter. She also has a dedication to teaching, supporting people grow relationship with the depth and beauty of the Astrological art through various channels, such as a monthly astrological circle - "Planet Pulse|", now in its third year, alongside a more involved teaching faculty that mentors astrological foundations and beyond, a busy 1:1 reading practice as well as hosting a weekly “Friday forecast” live on Instagram.

She has worked alongside She’s Lost Control (a portal pioneering expansive experiences in the heart of london) for 6 years and helped develop and teach SLC's astrology foundations course. As their in-house astrologer she supports clients to connect with their multidimensional depth, to meet life’s circumstances with resilience and grace. Amanda has also collaborated with landscape gardeners weaving the celestial with the terrestrial in physical ways, has been a guest speaker for Angharat Wynne; ‘Feather, Fire, Stone and Bone’ and has completed a three year apprenticeship in ‘Contemporary Animism' with Animate Earth, which helped grow confidence in the felt living practice of  tending the web of animacy pulsing through worlds within and without. She has journeyed with Josh Schrei of the Emerald and is an alumni of his year long Mythic body course (2021), has trained in dream tending with Topo Ka and Pacifica University and continues to develop her relational, soul-centered astrological practice with Brian Clark and Jason Holley.

Amanda has facilitated several group processes in collaboration with other practitioners. In 2025 she worked with Justine Huxley, who co-founded the Kincentric Leadership programme, “The Way of Kinship”. Together they facilitated “Kinship with stars” a day long experiential, embodied exploration to support growing animate astrological awareness beyond the astrological community. In October 2025 she offered an experiential workshop as part of the first Living Astrologies Conference and is in the final months of Jason Holley’s 18-month practitioner programme through the Hermes-Hestia Center.

Jason Holley, Founder and Lead Faculty

Jason Holley is the designer and lead faculty of the Living the Signs of the Zodiac curriculum.  Jason created the courses, will be co-facilitating in two of the course meetings, and consulting for the teaching team throughout the course.

Jason has been a practicing astrologer for 35 years and was a practicing psychotherapist (LPCC) for 18 years. Jason grew up in astrology and divination, stretching back to his great-great-grandmother, who was a tea leaf reader in the West Virginia hills where he was born and grew up.   In 2014 Jason founded the Hermes-Hestia Center for Living Astrologies, now home to a Practitioner Program in experiential astrology, as well as the first Living Astrologies Conference held in October 2025.

Jason’s work focuses on engaging with stories of earth and sky in a way that enhances life and our connections with all our relations, in our shared sensuous and animate world, and in the inner ecosystem of creatures we see represented in the horoscope. Jason leads online experiential courses and on-land workshops and retreats, and sacred site pilgrimages engaging methods developed from long study and practice of storytelling, archetypal psychology, psychodrama and action methods, ceremony, ecopsychology and relational-somatic therapies.
