Experiential Workshop at NORWAC - Seattle

Saidiya Hartman shows us how people designated marginal and problematic by official archives were frequently forerunners of transformation. We are going to engage our ‘problem planets’: those fallen and debilitated, squared and opposed, maltreated and intercepted, idle and misfortunate. Beyond the story doctrine tells, what do the planets themselves say? We will encourage their testimony through myth, image, dreams, memories, movement, and astrodrama. Bring charts and troubled ones, especially those where stories seem stuck. Also curiosity, imagination, readiness to move and be moved. Depart with fresh stories of wayward planets; and fresh methods to connect with them in consultation.
